I.Preamble

What we eat
tells a story.

an open-door story

At Complices, cooking is above all a human story. Behind every plate there is a trio, tales, childhood memories, cultures, encounters, gestures passed down, landscapes — in short, an open-door story that shapes the identity and richness of the restaurant.

Here, food is told not only through its ingredients, but through what it evokes: a family table to discover together, a scent of spices, a root, a fruit tasted while travelling, a precise memory we want to share with you.

Every dish is designed to create connection and awaken your own memories as we share a moment together. Take your time, taste, share — and become, for the length of a meal, complices with us.

II.The menu

To nibble, to share,
to savour.

the menu changes with the seasons

The menu is deliberately short. Written in chalk, it changes with the seasons and the chefs' mood. You'll find the essentials of Mediterranean cooking — burrata, tuna tartare, prawns, confit lamb — alongside the house signatures that make our identity.

The Coquillettes de notre enfance, the Soleil des Cardeurs, the Cookie indécent: dishes that each carry a memory, a wink, an emotion. Everything is homemade, here and now.

III.The trio

Antoine, Corentin
& Arnaud.

three first names, three initials, three stories

Three long-time friends who ended up bringing their cooking together. Each brings a path, a memory, an obsession — and together they are complices enough to cover every role, from the kitchen to the dining room. From this singular union the house is born.

Antoine traces his roots between the south and Ethiopia. Arnaud learned cooking very young with his mother, the memory of growing family tables. Corentin weaves the line, from market to dining room. Together they sign — A·C·A — like sealing a pact.

IV.The place

Place des Cardeurs.

in the beating heart of Aix-en-Provence

In spring 2026, Antoine, Corentin and Arnaud settle in on Place des Cardeurs — one of the liveliest squares in Aix-en-Provence. A counter, twelve tables, a kitchen open onto the room. No endless menu, no tasting menu, no fuss. Just a table where you want to linger.

At the entrance, a wrought-iron arch invites you across the threshold. Its lines echo the A·C·A monogram that signs our house — the union of our initials, intertwined like our paths.
